Blue Star, air conditioning major is planning to set up a manufacturing facility in South India, which accounts for almost 42% of its market. This initiative will help the company to reduce logistics costs to transport the products from the North, which was adding to price pulls.

The company has six manufacturing facilities located at Thane, Bharuch, Dadra, Himachal and Wada.
