Copper futures end lower on demand worries

Copper futures ended lower on Tuesday due to demand worries as China failed to ease its strict Covid-19 policy. further, growing fears of a global recession also dampened metal prices. Although, some losses were capped by tight supplies globally.

Copper futures for December delivery lost $0.0535 to settle at $3.3620 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was down 1.87 percent at $7,421 a ton.
