According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 1861.15 crore in index futures and options segments on Tuesday, January 29, 2013.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 669.78 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 1191.37 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 583.04 crore while they sold stock options worth Rs 175.04 crore.
