Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation reports marginal fall of 0.21% in Q3 net

Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2012.

The company has reported a marginal fall of 0.21% in its net profit at Rs 112.22 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 112.46 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has decreased by 3.59% at Rs 393.05 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 407.69 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.

GMDC is engaged in business of mining and mineral processing. The company manufactures two grades of fluorspar namely acid and metallurgical. It owns two bauxite reserve located at Kutch and Jamnagar.
