Birla Corporation reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2022.
The company has reported net loss of Rs 17.10 crore for Q2FY23 as compared to net profit of Rs 41.77 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 18.55% to Rs 1,305.85 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,101.51 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss of Rs 56.46 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 85.55 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 19.31% to Rs 2,041.58 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,711.10 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
