Bharti Airtel, India’s biggest mobile carrier, has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2012
The Company’s net profit for the quarter declined by 47.01% at Rs 750.30 crore as compared to Rs 1416.00 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011. Total Income has increased marginally by 5.45% to Rs 11344.00 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 10757.60 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
On Consolidated basis, the Group’s net profit for third quarter declined by 71.94% at Rs 283.70 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 1011.30 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Its total Income for Q3FY13 has increased by 9.43% to Rs 20253.70 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012 from Rs 18507.80 crore for Q3FY12.
