Shyam Metalics and Energy reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2022.

The company has reported fall of 98.56% in its net profit at Rs 3.73 crore for Q2FY23 as compared to Rs 259.64 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 15.16% to Rs 1,418.47 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,231.78 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported fall of 72.97% in its net profit at Rs 110.91 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 410.28 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 23.53% to Rs 3,106.85 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2,515.02 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
