Physical rubber prices show better trend on Friday

Physical rubber prices showed a better trend on Friday following a sharp recovery in domestic futures.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety improved to Rs 157/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 156.50/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 152.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 152/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of February delivery improved to Rs 159.47 compared to its previous closing of Rs 155.42, while March delivery closed at Rs 161.75 compared to its previous closing of Rs 157.51 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
