HAL surges on handing over 16th ALH Mk III helicopter to Indian Coast Guard

Hindustan Aeronautics is currently trading at Rs. 2579.75, up by 56.65 points or 2.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 2523.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2524.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2587.00 and Rs. 2522.85 respectively. So far 35031 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2639.00 on 12-Sep-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1181.25 on 20-Dec-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2587.00 and Rs. 2411.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 86069.67 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.15%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.33% and 4.53% respectively.

Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) has handed over the last of the 16 ALHs (Mk-III, Maritime role) contracted with the Indian Coast Guard. The CG had signed a contract with HAL for supply of 16 ALH Mk III in March 2017. ALH Mk III is indigenously designed, developed and produced by HAL. The company has so far produced more than 330 ALHs, a versatile helicopter which has logged more than 3.74 lakh of flying hours. Additionally, the company has received Letter of Intent (LoI) for nine more helicopters from Indian Coast Guard.
