Gujarat Chief Minister (CM) Bhupendra Patel today filed his nomination from Ghatlodya constituency in Ahmedabad for the Gujarat Assembly Elections. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also present during his nomination filing.
Earlier today, Bhupendra Patel also held a road show with Amit Shah in Ghatlodiya assembly constituency. During the public address, Shah has clarified that Patel will continue to remain the CM of Gujarat if the Bharatiya Janata Party regains power in next month's Assembly elections.
The ruling party is seeking the seventh consecutive term in the state. The state has been a BJP stronghold for a long time, and the party has set its sights on returning to power with a majority this time. Elections for the 182-member Gujarat Assembly will be held in two phases on December 1 and 5.
