Gold futures finished lower on Friday, as the headwinds dollar and US Treasury Bond yields firmed pressuring yellow metal investments. Bets of continued interest rate hike by Federal Reserve also saddled yellow metal investments. Bullion for most-active contract marked 0.9% loss for the week.
Gold futures for December shrunk by $8.60 or 0.5% to settle at $1754.40 ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold dipped by $9.76 or 0.55% or $1,750.68 per ounce.
