Copper futures trade lower on stronger dollar

21 Nov 2022 Evaluate
Copper futures traded lower on Friday due to stronger US dollar, while investors awaited further cues on Fed’s interest rates strategy. Growing fears of a global recession and a spike in Covid-19 cases in several Chinese cities also dampened the outlook for copper.

Copper futures for December delivery lost 0.72% or $0.0260 at $3.6060 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
