Physical Rubber prices witnessed weakness on Thursday amid lower demand for the commodity at domestic as well as overseas markets. Moreover, growing fears over a potential global recession and China’s worst Covid-19 outbreak also dampened rubber prices globally.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 147/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 147.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to Rs 143.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 144/ kg.
