In furtherance to the earlier intimation dated October 28, 2022, Bayer Cropscience has informed that pursuant to the order of Hon’ble Delhi High Court dated November 23, 2022 (uploaded on November 26, 2022), the Order restricting the use of glyphosate (published on October 25, 2022) shall not be implemented for a period of 3 months. Further, during this period, the court has recorded that Government of India shall revisit the matter and take a conscious decision. The Central Government (through Director of Plant Protection) undertook to communicate the Hon’ble Court’s order to all the state governments.
