Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Saturday

Physical Rubber prices witnessed some weakness on Saturday amid lower demand at domestic as well as overseas markets following growing fears over a potential global recession, while China’s worst Covid-19 outbreak and protests also dampened rubber prices globally.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 145.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 146/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety unchanged at its previous closing of Rs 142.50/ kg.
