NBCC, Lupin and TCS to see some action today

NBCC (India) has got work orders worth Rs 271.62 crore in projects of erstwhile realty firm Amrapali Group. It has got an order of Rs 42.44 crore for construction of balance works /left out works of Amrapali corporate Hub at IMT Manesar, Gurugram in Haryana. NBCC got an another order of Rs 229.18 crore for special repair and up-gradation works of civil, electrical, mechanical and plumbing along with all allied works required due to lack of comprehensive maintenance of Amrapali Projects at Noida & Greater Noida.

Lupin’s wholly owned subsidiary in Brazil, Medquimica Industria Farmaceutica (MedQuimica), has signed a definitive agreement to acquire all rights to nine medicines from BL Industria Otica, a subsidiary of Bausch Health Companies Inc. As part of the transaction, MedQuimica will acquire rights to nine products including Limbitrol, Melleril and Dalmadorm for Central Nervous System related conditions, Bacrocin, Glyquin, Solaquin, Oxipelle and Efurix as topical oncological treatments, and Cuprimine for the treatment of Wilson’s disease. This move reinforces the company’s commitment to making healthcare solutions accessible to all patients.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has launched the TCS Quantum Computing Lab on AWS to help enterprises explore, develop, and test business solutions and accelerate the adoption of quantum computing, considered one of the most promising technologies of the decade. While still in its nascent stages, quantum computing has the potential to help solve challenges too difficult for classical computers to solve in a timely manner today, such as enhanced detection of surface anomalies or optimization problems.

Fredun Pharmaceuticals has inked two large contracts for Pharma and DC Granules. The company received one-year contract worth Rs 65 crore from a Southeast Asian country for Pharma exports. The revenue would commence from Q4FY23. This is part of a much larger multiple-year contract and will be continued upon successful execution post first year.

Arvind SmartSpaces’(ASL) wholly owned subsidiary -- Arvind Homes has launched and sold the entire 1st phase of its residential plotting project, Arvind Greatlands in Devanahalli, Bengaluru on November 26, 2022. The first phase of this project, comprising of 400 plots with a saleable area of 0.57 million sq. ft. amounting to a booking value of more than Rs 200 crore, was sold out in 10 hours.
