Gold futures finish higher as dollar declines

30 Nov 2022 Evaluate
Gold futures finished higher on Tuesday, kindled by the decline in dollar making it cheaper for third currency holders. Moreover, anticipations over less aggressive interest rate hikes also supported the investment appeal of the yellow metal. Technical buying after precious metal's previous losses also triggered the upward momentum.

Gold futures for December up by $8.40 or 0.5% to settle at $1763.70 ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. Spot gold rose $4.21 or 0.24% or $1,754.06 per ounce.
