Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda and other leaders attended the opening session of the two-day national office bearers’ meeting of the BJP at party headquarters in Delhi today.
PM Modi arrived in the national capital after casting his ballot in the Gujarat Assembly elections. In the meeting, future strategies and preparations of the party for the assembly elections in several states in 2023 and the Lok Sabha elections in 2024 will be discussed and functioning of the organisation will also be reviewed. Nadda will preside over this two-day gathering, and PM is expected to virtually address the closing session on Tuesday, according to those in the know. The national office holders of the party, the in-charge and co-in-charge of every state, the state presidents, and the organisation general secretaries of every state are also invited to the meeting.
India’s G-20 presidency is seen as a significant accomplishment, and the party will also lay out programmes related to it to inform the public about the nation’s expanding global influence under PM Modi’s leadership, a senior BJP leader said.
