Gold futures finished higher on Tuesday, as the investment appeal of the bullion whetted by the weakness in dollar and US Treasury Bond yields. Technical buying after previous session 1.6% fall also buoyed the precious metal. However, the yellow metal is still holding below the key psychological $1800 level.
Gold futures for February rose by $1.10 or 0.1% to settle at $1782.40 ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. Spot gold added by $1.57 or 0.09% or $1,772.61 per ounce.
