Bhupendra Patel today took oath as the 18th Chief minister (CM) of Gujarat following the BJP’s seventh consecutive victory in the state’s Legislative Assembly elections. Sixteen cabinet ministers also took oath alongside Bhupendra Patel today. In the just-concluded Gujarat Assembly elections, the BJP won a seventh straight term by winning record 156 seats in the 182-member House.
