On the fourth day of the winter session of the Bihar assembly, the opposition MLAs created ruckus and carried chairs in the Legislative Assembly while Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav was addressing the House.
When Tejashwi was reading out his reply to a question in the assembly, several opposition MLAs raised slogans and one of the Legislators could be seen carrying a chair. The Assembly witnessed with anti-government slogans and wrongful behaviour. Due to that, the proceedings of the House were adjourned for 7 minutes. Leader of the Opposition in Bihar Assembly Vijay Kumar Sinha raised the issue of deaths due to fake liquor.
The Chhapra Hooch tragedy was one of the issues raised in the Rajya Sabha today, leading to the adjournment of the House thrice within a short span of 40 minutes as both the Treasury benches and the opposition raised their issues together with the commencement of the Zero Hour. The number of people who died in hooch tragedy has increased to 59.
