Physical Rubber prices witnessed some weakness on Saturday due to sluggish demand following fears of a potential recession globally, while surging Covid-19 infections in China also weighed on rubber prices.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 140/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 140.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety unchanged at its previous closing of Rs 137/ kg.
