ACC registers 46% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

ACC has reported results for fourth quarter ended December 31, 2012.

The company has registered 49.15% fall in its net profit of Rs 239.22 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 470.44 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income from operation of the company has increased by 24.43% at Rs 3179.56 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2555.22 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.

The company, on consolidated basis, has reported 45.76% fall in its net profit at Rs 251.24 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 463.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income from operation of the company has increased by 2.52% at Rs 2768.11 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2700.11 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.

For the fiscal 2012, the company’s standalone net profit dipped 19.93% to Rs 1061.19 crore from Rs 1325.26 crore in the previous fiscal. However, the total income from operations went up by 17.57% to Rs 11357.96 crore from Rs 9660.26 crore in last year.

For the entire fiscal, the company’s consolidated net profit dipped 18.57% to Rs 1059.28 crore from Rs 1300.80 crore in the previous fiscal. However, the total consolidated income from operations went up by 10.95% to Rs 11358.19 crore from Rs 10237.19 crore in last year.
