Tata Steel inches up on the plans of investing 2.3 million euros at IJmuiden facility

Tata Steel is currently trading at Rs 391.45, up by 0.80 points or 0.20% from its previous closing of Rs 390.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 390.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 394.00 and Rs 387.75 respectively. So far 390769 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 500.90 on 21-Feb-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs 347.55 on 06-Sep-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 411.85 and Rs 390.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 38037.61 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 31.35% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 42.74% and 23.84% respectively

In a bid to develop next-generation steels for the auto industry that are lighter, stronger and better able to withstand crashes, Tata Steel’s European branch, Tata Steel UK will invest 2.3 million euros at its IJmuiden facility in the Netherlands. The Indian company’s European branch is Europe’s second largest steel producer.
