Sheela Foam is in advance talks with rival mattress maker ‘Kurlon’ to acquire its business. This deal will help the company to expand its business in South, West and other markets where Kurlon has a strong presence. The deal will also help Sheela Foam to incrementally increase its capacity as Kurlon has 9 strategically located manufacturing facilities across Karnataka, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Uttaranchal and Gujarat. The deal is estimated to be around Rs 2000 crore.
