Workmen at Blue Star's factory located at Wada, district Thane have proceeded on illegal strike with effect from February 7, 2013, even as the company was engaged in discussions with them regarding their various demands including higher wages.
The above illegal strike may cause certain temporary disruptions in the operations at Wada factory. The company operates 6 other manufacturing units at various locations across the country and these units are functioning smoothly. Since most of these manufacturing facilities are equipped to handle multiple products. The company expects no major disruption due to this illegal strike at Wada.
