IRB InvIT Fund’s gross toll collection rises 18% in December 2022

IRB InvIT Fund’s gross toll collection in December 2022 stood at Rs 77.70 crore as compared to Rs 65.76 crore in December 2021 i.e. up by 18.16%. On month on month basis, the company has reported marginal rise of 1.30% in December 2022 over November 2022 when collection was Rs 76.70 crore.

In the month of December 2022, under IRB InvIT Fund, IRB Tumkur Chitradurga Tollway collected Rs 33.92 crore, toll of Rs 6.28 crore was received from IRB Pathankot Amritsar Toll Road, IRB Jaipur Deoli Tollway has collected Rs 13.99 crore, M.V.R. Infrastructure And Tollways has received toll of Rs 15.41 crore and toll of Rs 8.10 crore was received from IRB Talegaon Amravati Tollway.

Meanwhile, toll collection at IRB Pathankot Amritsar Toll has been temporarily suspended due to farmer’s protests with effective from December 16, 2022. Besides, toll collection at same toll road stopped in October, 2020 due to farmer’s protests and had recommenced with effective from December 16, 2021 post withdrawal of farmer’s protest.

The concession period for IDAA Infrastructure i.e. Bharuch Surat and IRB Surat Dahisar Tollway i.e. Surat Dahisar project ended on March 31, 2022 and May 25, 2022 respectively and the projects were handed over to National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).
