Heidelberg Cement reports net loss of Rs 7.36 crore in Q4

Heidelberg Cement India has reported results for fourth quarter ended December 31, 2012.

The company has reported a net loss of Rs 7.36 crore for the quarter as compared to a net loss of Rs 1.80 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income from operation of the company has increased 0.96% at Rs 262.98 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 260.49 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.

For the year ended December 31, 2012, the company has posted a rise of 5.73% in its net profit at Rs 30.84 crore as compared to Rs 29.17 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income from operation has increased by 11.46% at Rs 1,114.42 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 999.80 crore for the period ended December 31, 2011.
