Just in: Retail inflation declines to 5.72% in December vs 5.88% in November

The country’s retail inflation, measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), decreased to 5.72 per cent in the month of December 2022 as compared to 5.88 per cent in November 2022. Retail inflation in the month of December 2021 stood at 5.66 per cent.
