Gold futures traded lower in early deals on Tuesday, saddled by the strength in dollar and on dulled safe haven appeal of the bullion followed by tamer than expected US inflation rates.
Gold futures for February fell by $8.40 or 0.44% to settle at $ 1921.70 ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. Spot gold down by 0.27% or $5.13 to $1,910.89 per ounce.
