Mineral industry stocks trade higher as India's mineral production rises 9.7% in November

Stocks related to the mineral industry were trading higher on the BSE, as the mines ministry has said the country's mineral production rose by 9.7 per cent in November 2022 as compared to the year-ago period. It stated the index of mineral production of mining and quarrying sector for the month of November, 2022 at 105.8, is 9.7 per cent higher as compared to the level in the month of November, 2021.

NMDC is currently trading at Rs. 128.30, up by 2.35 points or 1.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 125.95 on the BSE.

Coal India is currently trading at Rs. 216.50, up by 3.45 points or 1.62% from its previous closing of Rs. 213.05 on the BSE.

MOIL is currently trading at Rs. 170.00, up by 1.60 points or 0.95% from its previous closing of Rs. 168.40 on the BSE.

KIOCL is currently trading at Rs. 215.75, up by 1.10 points or 0.51% from its previous closing of Rs. 214.65 on the BSE.
