Asian markets trade mostly higher in early deals on Wednesday

Most of the Asian markets traded higher in early deals on Wednesday, after recent economic data spurred optimism that Federal Reserve may scaled down the pace of interest rate hikes. While, stock markets of, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China are closed for Lunar holidays. Nikkei advanced for the fourth straight session tracking BoJ s commitment to keep ultra-lose monetary policy and on improved exports with the weaker local currency yen.

Nikkei 225 up by 117.65 points or 0.43% to 27,416.84, Straight times rose 58.69 points or 1.78% to 3,352.40, and KOSPI enlarged by 31.54 points or 1.32% to 2,426.80,  

On the flip side, Jakarta Composite dipped by 20.73 points or 0.30% to 6,840.12, and FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI lower by 4.11 points or 0.27% to 1,500.33.
