Barak Valley Cements has received an approval for disinvestment of up to 55% in its wholly owned subsidiary, Valley Strong Cement (Assam). The board at its meeting held on February 13, 2013 has approved for the same.
Barak Valley Cements is engaged in the business of manufacturing cement. Presently it manufactures various grades of OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) and PPC (Portland Pozzolana Cement).
