CORE Education & Technologies declines on reporting 34% fall in Q3 consolidated net

Core Education & Technologies is currently trading at Rs. 298.85, down by 1.65 points or 0.55 % from its previous closing of Rs. 300.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 303.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 303.00 and Rs. 276.55 respectively. So far 4141 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 345.00 on 26-Sep-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 260.00 on 27-Jul-2012.

The company has reported 11.90% fall in its net profit at Rs 42.92 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 48.72 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income from operation of the company has increased by 11.75% at Rs 287.45 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 257.23 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.

The company, on consolidated basis, posted a fall of 33.52% in its net profit at Rs 68.29 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 102.72 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 2.69% at Rs 492.26 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 479.34 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
