Physical rubber prices closed unchanged on Thursday amidst low volumes on absence of active buyers or sellers in the commodity.
Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 156.50/ kg and Rs 152/ kg respectively.
In the futures market, contract of February delivery improved to Rs 157.50 compared to its previous closing of Rs 156.77, while March delivery closed at Rs 159.75 compared to its previous closing of Rs 159.02 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
