Gold futures finished higher on Monday, rebounding from previous day’s three week low settlement. Safe haven appeal amid US-Sino tensions also boosted bullion investment. However, firmness in dollar after robust US jobs data limited some gains in the session.
Gold futures for April up by $2.90 or 0.20% to settle at $1879.50 ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. Spot gold rose by 0.26% or $4.77 to $1,872.25 per ounce.
