Star Health reports 13% rise in gross direct premium for YTD January 2023

Star Health and Allied Insurance Company has reported 13% growth in gross direct premium at Rs 9,946.7 crore (provisional) for YTD January 2023 as against Rs 8,806.1 crore for YTD January 2022. Out of the total gross direct premium, Health-Retail premium stood at Rs 9,150.4 crore (provisional) for YTD January 2023 as compared to Rs 7,674.9 crore for YTD January 2022, i.e. up by 19%. Health-Group premium and Personal Accident premium stood at Rs 645.8 crore and Rs 149.1 crore (provisional) respectively for YTD January 2023.

Star Health and Allied Insurance Company is providing sterling services in health, personal accident and overseas travel insurance etc.
