Idea Cellular rises on adding 2.45 million mobile subscribers in January

Idea Cellular is currently trading at Rs. 109.35, up by 0.20 points or 0.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 109.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 108.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 109.80 and Rs. 108.40 respectively. So far 45396 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 124.00 on 16-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 71.20 on 24-Apr-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 111.65 and Rs 104.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 36026.98 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 45.92% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.07% and 32.02% respectively.

Idea Cellular, India’s fourth-biggest cellular carrier has added 2.45 million mobile subscribers in January, 2013. Following the said addition, the company’s total subscriber count stood at 116.40 million with a market share of 17.70%.

Idea Cellular, an AV Birla group company, provides Global System for Mobile communications (GSM)-based wireless service at the pan-India level; it is present in all 22 telecom circles.
