Chordia Food Products has received an approval to dispose off the entire shareholding in its 100% subsidiary - Western Agri Food Park (WAFPPL) and the said sale of shares is affected on February 22, 2013. The board of company has also approved for the same.
The company has taken this step as such the whole purpose of incorporating WAFPPL has been defeated and the working of WAFPPL as of date is standstill, and there were no activities in WAFPPL as regards its main object of setting up the Mega Food Park.
Chordia Food Products had promoted a 100% subsidiary company, WAFPPL which was incorporated on May 11, 2007 to set up a Mega Food park.
