Tata Steel rises on completing first multi-modal shipment of TMT bars to Tripura

Tata Steel is currently trading at Rs. 112.65, up by 0.65 points or 0.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 112.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 111.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 113.00 and Rs. 111.35 respectively. So far 650441 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 138.63 on 06-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 82.71 on 23-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 113.00 and Rs. 108.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 137879.70 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.90%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.65% and 23.72% respectively.

Tata Steel has successfully completed the first multi-modal shipment of 960 tonnes of TMT bars from West Bengal's Haldia Port to Tripura's Agartala. The entire transportation from flag-off to receiving material at the distributor's warehouse in Agartala was completed in 17 days.

Earlier in 2022, the company had successfully shipped 1,800 tonnes of finished steel products from Haldia Port in West Bengal to Pandu Port in Assam using the IBP route via the Brahmaputra river.
