Bharti Airtel trades higher on the bourses

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 320.45, up by 13.40 points or 4.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 307.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 310.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 334.55 and Rs. 310.00 respectively. So far 2,08,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 370.40 on 25-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 238.50 on 30-Aug-2012.

The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,21,691.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 68.50% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.46% and 6.04% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has received investment grade rating, with negative outlook, from Global rating agency, Fitch for its proposed billion-dollar bond sale that is in line with the company’s long term rating. The rating agency has assigned Bharti Airtel International (Netherlands) BV’s proposed foreign-currency senior unsecured notes an expected ‘BBB-(EXP)’ rating.

The company has received the negative outlook on account of its ongoing regulatory uncertainty in its Indian operations. The negative outlook continues to reflect ongoing regulatory uncertainty in its Indian operations relating to a one-time charge for excess spectrum (over 6.2 MHz) and spectrum refarming.
