Gold futures traded slightly higher in early deals on Monday kindled by bargain hunting after the yellow metal posted third straight weekly loss, by dipping 1.3% for the week. However, firm dollar and Fed interest rate hike fears limited some gains.
Gold futures for April up by 90 cents or 0.05% to settle at $1851.10 ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. Spot gold rose by 0.02% or $0.28 to $1,842.64 per ounce.
