Copper futures trade higher on Monday

20 Feb 2023 Evaluate
Copper futures traded higher on Monday ahead of the Federal Reserve’s February meeting minutes due on Wednesday. Expectations for more stimulus measures in the world’s top metal consumer China boosted copper prices’ uptrend. However, a firmer US dollar and rising inventories capped further gains in copper prices.

Copper futures for March delivery gained 0.27% or $0.0110 at $4.1195 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
