Bharat Forge has received an approval for the transfer of the Company’s stake in Aeron Systems (Aeron) to Kalyani Strategic Systems (KSSL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, in order to house all defense related investments of the Company under one entity.
The ‘Investment Committee - Defence Business’ of the Company at its meeting held on February 23, 2023, has approved the same. KSSL & Aeron are the wholly-owned subsidiary and associate of the Company respectively. Subsequent to this transfer of shares, Aeron shall become an associate of the KSSL.
Bharat Forge is engaged in manufacturing of close die and open die forging, crankshafts, front axle beams, steering knuckle, connecting rods, rocker arm and many more components.
