25 Feb 2023 Evaluate
Copper futures settled lower on Friday amid a firmer US dollar with expectations that the US Fed will keep raising interest rates for longer. Moreover, subdued demand in the world’s top metal consumer China also adding more pressure on copper prices. However, ongoing supply disruptions across the globe, limited further fall in copper prices.

Copper futures for March delivery lost $0.1070 to settle at $3.9520 a pound on the comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was down by 2.11 percent at $8,716.50 a ton.
