ABG Shipyard’s largest promoter entity - ABG International, has purchased 3.27 lakh shares of the company in an open market transaction. The promoter entity has acquired private shipbuilder share at an average price of Rs 309.43 a piece, aggregating the deal size to Rs 10.13 crore.
ABG International held 3.12 crore shares or 61.29% stake in ABG Shipyard as on December 31, 2012.
Last week, ABG International had bought additional 2.45% stake in the country’s largest private shipbuilder ABG Shipyard for Rs 50 crore. ABG International had bought 12.50 lakh shares in the company on an average price of Rs 397.74 apiece through open market transaction.
