01 Mar 2023 Evaluate
Copper futures settled higher on Tuesday with expectations for a demand revival in the world’s largest metal consumer China. However, a firmer dollar made copper more expensive to holders of other currencies.

Copper futures for May delivery gained $0.0785 to settle at $4.0895 a pound on the comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was up by 1.81 percent at $8,961 a ton.
