Wipro, NBCC and PNC Infratech to see some action today

Wipro has been selected by Menzies Aviation, the world's largest aviation services company, to transform its air cargo management services. The partnership will help fortify Menzies' position as the leading cargo handler in the market, enabling the company to grow its services and use of new technologies. It will also accelerate competitiveness while keeping customers, partners, employees, and the environment at the center of this transformation.

NBCC (India) has bagged work order worth Rs 229.81 crore. The company has secured order for construction of new campus for IIFT at Kakinada from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. Earlier, the company had bagged three orders worth Rs 541.02 crore.

PNC Infratech has been declared as the L1 (lowest) bidder for two Highway Projects of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), with an aggregate bid project cost of Rs 2004.43 crore. Price bids were opened on March 9, 2023, with PNC’s bids being lowest (L1). Firstly, the company has been declared the L1 bidder for construction of 6-lane Greenfield Varanasi - Ranchi – Kolkata Highway from junction with Chandauli - Chainpur Road near Khainti village to junction with Bhabhua - Adhaura road near Palka village for 27.0 km length (from km 27+000 to km 54+000) under Bharatmala Pariyojana in the state of Bihar on Hybrid Annuity Mode with bid project cost of Rs 891.00 crore.

Infosys has collaborated with mobility specialist ZF to revamp its multi-echelon supply chain with SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) and Infosys Cobalt. Through this engagement with the aftermarket division of ZF, Infosys has implemented SAP IBP for demand planning and inventory optimization.  Infosys was chosen to assist ZF on this transformation journey for its proven expertise in SAP IBP implementation and a plethora of in-house tools and accelerators, backed by efficient teams. As a part this initiative, Infosys leveraged its hybrid agile implementation methodology to replace multiple legacy demand planning tools at ZF Aftermarket, with a unified, global SAP platform.

Zydus Lifesciences has received final approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Erythromycin Tablets USP, 250 mg and 500 mg (USRLD: Erythromycin Tablets). Erythromycin Tablets USP, 250 mg and 500 mg are used to prevent and treat infections in many different parts of the body, including respiratory tract infections, skin infections, diphtheria, intestinal amebiasis, acute pelvic inflammatory disease, legionnaire's disease, pertussis and syphilis.

Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) has received approval for the raising of Unsecured, Non-convertible, Non-cumulative, Redeemable, Taxable POWERGRID Bonds-LXXI (71st) Issue 2022-23 on Private placement up to Rs 900 crore by securitization of cashflows of 10 years i.e, till FY 2032-33 of its operational SPV viz., ‘POWERGRID Mithilanchal Transmission (PMTL)’. The Committee of Directors for Bonds at their meeting held on March 9, 2023 approved the same.

Welspun DI Pipes, a wholly owned subsidiary of Welspun Corp, has received the Kitemark certificate by BSI UK for size range of 100 to 1,000 DN against EN 545 and ISO 2531 standards. These are the international standards for Ductile Iron pipes used for transportation of potable water.
