NBCC (India) surges on bagging work order worth Rs 500 crore from Government of Puducherry

NBCC (India) is currently trading at Rs. 36.45, up by 0.86 points or 2.42% from its previous closing of Rs. 35.59 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 37.01 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 37.19 and Rs. 36.37 respectively. So far 281366 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 43.80 on 30-Nov-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 26.70 on 17-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 38.50 and Rs. 35.32 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6406.20 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.26% and 23.99% respectively.

NBCC (India) has bagged work order worth around Rs 500 crore from Government of Puducherry. The company has received order for construction of Government Medical College and Hospital at Karaikal, Puducherry. Earlier, the company had bagged work order worth Rs 229.81 crore for construction of new campus for IIFT at Kakinada from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.

NBCC (India) is one of the few public sector companies engaged in the business of project management consultancy services for civil construction projects (PMC), civil infrastructure for power sector and real estate development.
