Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) is planning to raise Rs 57,000 crore through issuance of unsecured redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs), in various tranches, under a Shelf Placement Memorandum on a private placement basis. The meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to be held on March 27, 2023, to consider and approve the same.
HDFC offers a whole gamut of products like loans to individuals, loans to corporates, construction finance, and lease rental discounting. The financial conglomerate has subsidiaries and associates in insurance (general and life), asset management, education finance, venture funds and banking services.
